Vocabulary That Holds Up
You'll leave with a working set of phrases and framings that keep your content clear — and that don't accidentally wander into territory that requires a licence.
Small, Focused Groups
Sessions are kept deliberately small so there's room for real discussion, not just delivery. Every participant gets time to work through their specific format.
Printed Reference Materials
Workshops include a printed framing guide. The annual track includes a companion volume. Materials are designed to stay on your desk, not in a downloads folder.
Podcast-Ready Framing
Content is shaped around the audio format — how to open a money conversation, when to add a verbal disclaimer, how to structure an interview with a financial professional.
Non-Advisory by Design
Every module is written and reviewed to stay firmly on the communication side. Nothing here strays into personal finance planning or investment commentary.
Based in Kuala Lumpur
Sessions run from our studio space in KL — accessible, central, and set up for the kind of concentrated small-group work that this kind of content demands.
A Programme Worth Sitting Down For
If you produce content that touches on personal finance — whether that's a podcast, a newsletter, or short video — there's a programme here worth looking at. Drop us a note and we'll outline the options.
Frequently Asked
Who are the workshops designed for?
The workshops and programmes are designed for content creators — primarily podcasters, newsletter writers, and short-form video producers — who cover personal finance topics and want to do so in a measured, responsible way. No prior background in finance is needed.
Is this financial advice or training?
Neither. Peregrine's programmes are communication and literacy education — they focus on how to discuss money topics, not on what people should do with their money. None of our content constitutes financial advice for participants or their audiences.
How many people are in each session?
We keep groups small — typically six to ten participants. This allows for genuine discussion and individual attention during peer review elements. Session dates are confirmed once a cohort is formed.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are held at our studio space at Jalan Kia Peng 38, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. The space is set up for small-group workshop formats with comfortable seating and a quiet, focused atmosphere.
What does the price include?
The Workshop (RM 540) includes both evening sessions and the printed framing guide. The Six-Week Programme (RM 1,950) includes all six sessions and peer review access. The Annual Track (RM 4,580) includes monthly sessions, quarterly reviews, and the printed annual companion.
Can I join the Annual Track mid-year?
The Annual Track is designed to be taken from the beginning of a cohort cycle. We occasionally accept participants at the start of a new quarter; please contact us directly to discuss timing and availability.
