These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Peregrine website and your participation in any programmes offered by Peregrine. By using the website or registering for a programme, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or register for our programmes.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting an enquiry, registering for a Programme, or attending a session, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter this Agreement. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Description of Programmes
Peregrine offers communication and literacy education programmes for content creators. All programmes are designed to develop vocabulary, framing skills, and disclaimer practices for creators who discuss personal finance topics in their content. Programmes are held in person at our studio in Kuala Lumpur.
Peregrine's programmes are communication and literacy education — they do not constitute financial advice, investment guidance, or regulatory training for financial services practitioners. Nothing in any programme session, printed material, or communication from Peregrine constitutes financial advice.
Programme availability is subject to cohort formation. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to insufficient registration numbers or circumstances outside our control, in which case we will communicate promptly and arrange alternatives or refunds.
4. Registration and Enrolment
Programme registration is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Places are allocated in the order registration is received once a cohort is formed. We will confirm session dates and logistics by email following registration.
Participants are responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of registration. Errors may result in missed communications, for which Peregrine accepts no liability.
5. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current programme fees are:
- Talking About Money Workshop: RM 540 per participant
- Six-Week Creators Literacy Programme: RM 1,950 per participant
- Annual Creators Track: RM 4,580 per participant per year
Payment details are provided at the time of registration. Fees are due in full prior to the first session of the relevant programme.
Refund Policy
Cancellations received more than fourteen days before the first session of a programme are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations received between seven and fourteen days before the first session are eligible for a 50% refund. No refund is available for cancellations received fewer than seven days before the first session, or for non-attendance without prior notice.
If Peregrine cancels or reschedules a session, participants will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the relevant portion of fees.
6. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
- Attend sessions at the confirmed location and time
- Treat other participants and facilitators with courtesy and respect
- Keep peer review materials and cohort discussions confidential
- Not record sessions without the prior written consent of Peregrine and all participants present
- Not reproduce or distribute Peregrine's printed materials or session content without prior written permission
Peregrine reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these Terms. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
7. Intellectual Property
All curriculum materials, printed guides, companion volumes, and other content produced by Peregrine are the intellectual property of Peregrine. Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use materials for their own professional development. Materials may not be reproduced, shared, sold, or used for commercial training purposes without prior written permission from Peregrine.
Content submitted by participants for peer review remains the participant's own intellectual property. By submitting content for review, participants grant Peregrine a limited licence to use that content for facilitation and feedback purposes within the cohort only.
8. Disclaimers
Peregrine's programmes are provided for educational and communication purposes only. We make no representation that completing a programme will produce specific professional outcomes or that any content discussed constitutes professional advice of any kind.
The website and its content are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Peregrine's total liability to any participant for any claim arising from these Terms or from participation in a programme shall not exceed the programme fee paid by that participant.
Peregrine shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind, including loss of earnings, business interruption, or reputational harm.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, infrastructure failures, public health events, or government restrictions.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peregrine, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of programme materials, or any content you submit during peer review that infringes a third party's rights.
11. Termination
Peregrine may terminate or suspend your access to any programme or service at any time if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. You may withdraw from a programme at any time subject to the refund policy set out in Section 5. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct negotiation in good faith. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Peregrine with respect to the subject matter herein. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. A failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate, directly to registered participants. Continued use of the website or participation in a programme after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
