Cookie Policy
Last updated: 29 April 2025
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones Peregrine uses on this website, and what choices you have. Reading it takes about three minutes. If you have questions afterward, write to [email protected].
1. What Are Cookies
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser when you visit. The file is stored locally on your device and sent back to the originating site on subsequent visits. Cookies are not programs — they cannot execute code or carry viruses.
Websites use cookies to remember your preferences, understand how pages are used, and sometimes to show content relevant to your interests. You can inspect, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (see section 6 below).
2. Cookies We Use
We place cookies into four categories. Essential cookies are always active. The remaining three are optional and can be switched off in the preferences panel further down this page.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed directly by third-party services we use. Peregrine does not control how these third parties use data collected through their cookies. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
- Google Analytics — policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta (Facebook Pixel) — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Microsoft (Bing/Clarity) — privacy.microsoft.com
- Google Maps — embedded map on our homepage may place session cookies tied to Google's infrastructure
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two groups based on how long they persist:
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open. Deleted automatically when you close the browser tab or window.
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device until their expiry date or until you delete them manually. Peregrine's persistent cookies range from 30 days (marketing measurement) to 26 months (analytics aggregation).
5. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the controls below to manage which optional cookies you accept. Your selections are saved immediately to your browser's local storage and will be applied on future visits.

7. Your Rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), you have the right to:
- Withdraw consent — change your preferences at any time using the panel in section 5 above or through your browser settings
- Access information — request details of what personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccuracies — ask us to update or correct data that is wrong
- Object to processing — where we process data for marketing purposes, you can opt out
Please be aware that disabling optional cookies will not remove previously collected analytics data but will stop new data from being gathered. Disabling essential cookies will affect the usability of this site.
